As with previous winters, tents will again serve as the temporary fix to the severe shortage of safe, permanent housing for Chicago’s homeless population.

Within the City of Chicago, there are an estimated 18,836 people experiencing homelessness in shelters or unsheltered locations, causing tent encampments to become a necessity as solutions to solve Chicago’s housing shortage are being explored and pursued.

URB has a long-standing commitment to serving homeless veterans, a cause we have championed for several years. As we continue honoring those who served, our efforts will extend to other charitable engagements for Chicago’s homeless.

Jonn Blazey led URB’s volunteer involvement in an engagement to ready a homeless tent encampment in Chicago with a donation of material from URB for tent flooring and installation.

Philanthropic Partners Welcome

URB, inc. president Brian Urbanowski has invested in selecting, organizing, and facilitating charitable activities for veterans, the homeless, and children causes.

As with all URB philanthropic activities, this particular homeless tent encampment in Chicago was chosen because it made an immediate, tangible difference and has the potential to make a life-changing difference for individuals and families in their time of need.

Participating in a URB charitable activity as a philanthropic partner can save you time, money, and resources and ensure your generosity will make a difference and be appropriately recognized.

I would welcome the opportunity to answer questions and respond to your interest.

Sincerely,
Jonn Blazey
